Students Show What They 'Can' Do for Others in Need

Wednesday, Nov 22, 2017

The students at Little Chico Creek Elementary School held their annual food drive for the North State Food Bank. The students donated 800 cans of food that will go to low-income families in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Plumas and Sierra counties.

The annual food drive educates kids about the local people in our communities who don’t get enough nutritious food. As a result of the food drive, the students learned to be grateful for what they have, and that they can make a positive impact by helping their neighbors.
