This Christmas you can make a child's wish come true. The Chico News & Review is partnering with us again to benefit the children of the Esplanade House. They have a giving tree set up in their office with 20 tags on it, each bearing the name of a child as well as ideas for gifts. Just pick a tag off the tree and return the wrapped present under the tree by December 19th with the child's name on the tag.
The Chico News & Review office is located at Second and Flume St.

Go and get your tag fast, so that you have the opportunity to make a memorable Christmas for one of these amazing kids. Many of them have had hard times, and live with modest means. Their parents, like all parents, want the best for their kids. However when you are struggling with poverty and rebuilding your life, there isn't much money left for extras like gifts. Love and support are the most important gifts, and being with family in a safe and secure place is what matters most for these kids. But what if YOU could give them something extra? Something unexpected? That might make the difference between a good Christmas and a great one.
Remember to return your wrapped gift by December 19th, the Chico News & Review will deliver the gifts to the Esplanade House on December 20th to be distributed before Christmas. In this season of giving, with so many families in Butte County in need, it's hard to know where to start. We assure you that helping a child experience the magic of Christmas is always a good investment. Please consider supporting the children of the Esplanade House this year.
Merry Christmas from the Community Action Agency of Butte County.
